phoebe philo said in her last interview (after a decade of absence in words) that “I don’t feel that there’s a huge amount of storytelling that needs to be done”. and of course as a daughter of her time I can totally agree with her. nowadays we explain everything. we want to be sure everyone is capture our essence and sometimes we just forget that we are the ones responsible to tell it not in words but with gestures, images and special designs.
but this
mama bracelet I have to. three years ago I launched this product. first everyone put it in the same package that brands I don´t find any proximity. but when phoebe philo launches mum necklace I got my validation. should I need one? maybe not. but I need. and as I decided to comeback the product, soon with letters on necklace and now only
this bracelet with MAMA all over it. I know phoebe will never explain this piece, but I will, in a kind of hope that maybe in somehow I can relate with this unicorn creative. I think the non-sexualization phoebe puts in her designs (but
“they are clothes for a woman who doesn’t want to be sexualized, but they don’t deny her sexuality.”) is the same paper we are here assuming nowadays as mothers. we don't want to be exclusively mothers but we don't want to deny this role. so it´s time for our role not to be something in opposite to something.
mama bracelet is a limited edition only available between 04 april and 04 may 2024 at cinco-store.com
